"this is the spot". standing on the rocky outcrop on netherwood farm, rob kleinloog made up his mind. and so the daydream began to take shape from bricks, sleepers and stone. Blueberry hill opened its doors at the end of 2008 with a, literal, thundering success. the clouds did open to allow the warm afternoon sunlight to roll with the hills of the midlands - even if just to say - 'we have arrived'. Originally planned as a small coffee shop, serving a few specialty baked goods, blueberry hill has grown to serve a wide range of sweet delights, as well as breakfasts and lunches. this wonderful growth was not only directly due to the buckets of hardwork and love put in by wendy porrill and liza kleinloog, but also due to their mouthwatering blueberry cheesecake - which is now famous in its own right. please see click here for more pictures on our humble beginnings. |
